We've had several nights of full sleep (read 7+ hours straight) since Samantha started daycare - WOOHOO! She had one night where she reverted to her prior m.o. of 5 hours, wake, 2 hours, wake, 2 hours wake, but she's not requiring a feeding anymore even when she wakes up after 7 hours! It's awesome. Last week I asked Lawrence to get up with her for a few nights in a row to see if she would just take a pacifier and go back to sleep. She did, and now I think she's mentally over the middle-of-the-night feeding.
I was pretty sure she didn't physically need the night feeding after about 8 weeks, and checked with the pediatrician at her 2 month appointment. He concurred, so I didn't feel bad about substituting the pacifier for milk. However, when it was me getting up to give her the paci, she would take it and then start crying again after about 15 minutes and I'd have to feed her. The trick was getting Lawrence to do it. Now, I can get up and give the paci, too, and she doesn't expect to be fed anymore. She's a quick learner :)

Woo hoo! Hooray for good sleep. That is wonderful. Let's hope it continues and becomes the norm.
