Week 36, plus nursery pics

My belly has definitely gotten much bigger! My neighbor (who used to be a doula) said it looked like the baby had dropped already because my belly looks lower. I think it's still too soon for that, but I'll find out for sure when I go to the doc for my 36 week appointment tomorrow. This is also my last week of work - yahoo! Getting up early after tossing and turning all night is for the birds. Of course I realize it's only going to get worse when I'm getting up to feed the baby every 3 hours, but maybe I can catch up on rest while I'm out on maternity leave. The nursery is almost complete. I found out that the bedding won't ship until next week, though :( I hope it gets here in time for the baby shower on June 5th! The blankets in the pic were knitted by my grandma...isn't she great?! The striped one is especially professional looking and actually goes pretty well with the room considering she had no idea what shades of blue and brown I had picked for the paint. The pink one is super soft, too.
I'm really happy with the way the sheep look over the crib. When you stand in the room and can see the ceiling together with that wall, it really looks like the sheep are jumping through the air over the crib! So cute.

  1. So so cute Elizabeth! You, the sheep, and the blanket all are so freakin' cute! Actually, you look fabulous! I have to say my favorite thing in the room right now are the sheep with the clouds. They really do look perfect over the bed.

I wish I only had one more week of work. I'm very tired of getting up early and not having slept very well at night too. I hope my last two weeks fly by.

  2. You're entering the final countdown!

Love the nursery. Can't wait to see it (and you) in person!
