I know I've been very bad at updating the blog, and I blame it on work. I've been traveling and working a lot more hours since I started this latest job in May than I have since Sam was born. So all of my free time is devoted to hanging out with her and Lawrence.
I took the last 2 days off of work to spend some extra time with Sam and chill out. Lawrence and I have been trying for baby #2 for a few months now, and it is proving to be much harder than it was to conceive Sam (which we didn't even have to try and do). I'm sure it has a lot to do with my stress level and travel schedule. I'm not too worried about it, though; I'm sure it will happen eventually.
Well, I have lots I could write, but then no one would want to read it all, so instead I'll just post some pics and videos. Enjoy!
Samantha loves to play in the dog's water bowl, so one morning, Dad decided to let her go at it. It was great fun for everybody until she discovered she could pick up the bowl and dump it everywhere. I have that on film in another video :)
This is Samantha at about 14 and a half months.
I can't tell if her eyes are blue, gray, or hazel...but they're just about the same shade as Daddy's! And still no hair :(
We went to the Capital Air Show in Sacramento last month. Samantha had a great time exploring the planes.
You can make out a few of her words in this video. She knows many of her body parts now - hair, teeth, also nose, eyes, belly, toes, tongue, etc.
Here you can see her front 4 teeth, and maybe make out the additional 2 lower teeth coming in. She also has 2 molars on the bottom and 2 on the top.
This is a more clear picture of the 2 coming in and the lower molars (yes, I had to wait for her to cry before I could take this - horrible I know!)
I found this shopping cart at a garage sale down the street for $3...she loves it!
She is adorable! thanks for the update, pics and videos! very exciting about trying for baby #2, Michael and i will be trying again at the start of next year (at least that is the plan) so we will probably be pregnant together this time sister-in-law, at least for part of the time!
ReplyDeleteHOW FUN!!!!
Great pictures! I really love the one of Sam holding her baby doll - too cute!
