Lamb & Dog Print Discontinued?!

I'm so bummed - the cute lamb and dog print has been discontinued...and I found this out after I ordered the odd-sized frames to fit :( So, I'm on the hunt for other cute 12x12 prints to replace my cute-animals-in-buckets prints. I've found the combos below so far, what do you think of them? (given the bedding choice of course :)

Today I went for another walk outside in the beautiful Spring weather, this time to Subway and back - with lunch. I felt like a contestant on the Biggest Loser! Speaking of which, I've gained about 15 pounds so far, which is slightly below recommendation, but still within range. My goal is to stay at or below 30 total pounds of extra weight so that I can lose it faster after baby girl gets here. We'll see how that goes, given I'm really liking chocolate and cookies at the moment :) The most important thing, I think, is to stay in shape cardiovascularly so that I can handle a long labor if necessary. I've been swimming, walking, and riding the stationary bike a lot, but have had to cut back on the eliptical machine because it hurts my back.

In other news, Lawrence seems to be liking his job a bit more after sitting in on a few meetings. The product he's working on seems exciting (at least to him). Also, last night he commented on how different the culture was at Intel than at HP. He said Intel folks are a lot more confrontational, but they stick to the issue to be solved rather than arguing back and forth over irrelevant things like they do at HP. Hopefully it continues to get better for him!

This weekend we have our first class at Kaiser (aside from the Early Prego class we took back in December). It's called You, Me and Baby Makes Three. I'm not exactly sure what it'll be about, but I think it will help us prepare for the toll a new baby may take on our marriage. The class is from 9-3 this Saturday and next, so hopefully it's interesting and helpful! We're also planning to clear out the baby's room this weekend - exciting! I can finally start to visualize it better :)

  1. I think the first set is my favorite. It's cute, has a little bit of the colors in it, but also some contrast with the blue in order to avoid it from being too matchy-matchy. I also think the 3rd cow set is very cute, especially the butterfly one.

You'll have to let us know how your class goes. We went to the anesthesia options class, which was really informative. Eric just about fainted when we watched the video on how they insert the needle for the epidural. I don't think we're signed up for a class with the same title as yours, but it sounds interesting.

  2. Thanks for the advice! The class is actually called "F-30 BRINGING BABY HOME", but it was advertized as "And Baby Makes Three" in the class catalog. We'll let you know how it goes!

  3. I agree with Nancy. I love the third set. Nice colors. We really enjoyed all of our classes. I loved seeing the other pregnant couples and comparing my belly size to other belly sizes. I'm looking forward to hearing about it next week. Have fun!

  4. I agree. The third set is the cutest. I love the green in the second cow picture. I saw that Baby Makes Three class, but never took it.
